the basics;; 01. Guests, if you have a question about the rules, feel free to ask in the support board.
02. Be sure to tell us when you are going to be away, just so you don't risk deletion if we have a spontaneous activity check.
04. Your account name must be that of your out of character name. Something we can call you. For instance, Cyn or Scribble.
05. Your application must say every large, important event that happened in your character's past. Plus, I do not want to see every girl being raped or abused and every guy being abandoned as a child. Please, be original.
06. The name of your character cannot contain the name of your face-claim, if you chose to have one. Also, don't use the name of actual living famous people. Be original please.
11. Don't pester people to post, however, if they have not posted in two weeks, it's not out of line to ask if they have forgotten or what the hold up is. On that topic, people will doubtfully post every day, please be able to respect that.
in character;;
01. You know the basics, third person, watch grammar and spelling , no god modding, no power playing, no large plots that effect the whole site, one person gets one account for a maximum of five characters.
02. Word count is 50 words. We’re all willing to help out new role players of course, but our standards aren't that high and are easy to be reached.
03. When role playing proper capitalization and punctuation must be used. Periods at the end of sentences, capitals at the beginning and for names. It's easier to read.
04. You can have as many as five characters at one time. There are a few rules, though. If you have two girls you must then create a guy, and keep him active. If you are "absolutely horrible" at playing guys than, sorry, but you don't get to play a third character at all. If he is not active one of the female characters will be disabled because sites almost always need guys. On that note, keep all your threads active. If I notice you ignore one thread and post very often in others the latter will be locked until a reply to the first is made. It's just rude.
05. Absolutely no mary sues. Everyone has their weaknesses, in personality and appearance, so put flaws in both. And this includes the play bys you will be using for your character. No celebrity is perfect in appearance, sorry. This is an advanced role play so spare us the pain of telling you to add flaws to your character. They will not be accepted.
06. All characters must be age ten or above. If we get too many teenagers I will also ban them as well. All jobs also have a strictly enforced age limit.
07. Pregnancy plots must be gone through with an admin. No one wants every girl in town preggers.
08. As for powers. You are allowed two. Smaller powers means more powers, bigger means less. The admin who accepts you will decide if your powers are overpowered or not.
09. We also have the right to decline you for being to unrealistic whether it be in your powers or your personality.
10. For the sake of my sanity, absolutely none of this two characters falling in love or talking about they are all the other ever wanted in the thread where they meet okay? It's fine if two characters are dating when their two role players join the site, but it is not allowed to have one thread with the characters and then have them be together. Come on, be realistic.
11. This site is only for mature and respectful members. However all threads must be PG-13 because the Proboards Terms of Service state that they must, no acceptions.
12. Please be careful while naming your character, don't make it too far out there. How many Shadow's or Jupiter's have you met? I'm not saying you can only use Sara or Anna or Jack, but keep it narrowed down to something you have heard of in the past.
signatures and avatars;; 01. You do need an avatar, that is a square that is larger, or exactly, 140x140 pixels. No smaller.
02. Signatures are completely optional, but if you choose to have one it needs to be less than 500 pixels wide and it has to be centered, otherwise it screws up the lovely coding. Got it? Good.
03. No nudity, period. If the admins think the picture in your signature, or anywhere else, is too revealing it will be removed, or if there is a complaint that the signature is too revealing from anyone. There’s no need for that.
other;; 01. Don't spam. Two posts in a row is against the rules. Really, just edit your post.
02. Also, no advertising anywhere, but the proper boards. Please don't even link to your site in your name, because it changes the look and messes with the uniformity.
03. No public fighting, solve it over PM and if something gets too bad contact a staff member.
your admins, Cyn and Scribble
